Strawberry Fields was supposedly an elementary school that Paul went to as a kid.
Great song- the whole Paul is dead theory I think started with some coincidences and then I think the Beatles played up on the whole joke of the thing. They were known to be practical jokers (just think of the dead baby album cover). Regardless, the music still is superb, love the way you see this song progress from demo to finished copy on anthology.
