I know I would not do justice to the genius that is/was/continues to be the Beatles. But wow, its hard for me to wrap my mind around their individual/collective genius. Simply inspiring.
@you: I think this version places more of an emphasis on the orchestral backing through most of it, which was very much in the background in the original recording.

Hmmmm. Most of these 'Love' versions have something about them which is quite different from the original version. Okay. So.... What's different on this one? Maybe a teeny tiny tweak here or there, but nothing worth writing home about.
Ringo's masterpiece S.H.? How 'bout George Martin's masterpiece. He's the one who pulled together a couple of unfinished and unrelated songs and made them work together. John and Paul really weren't much of a team by this point and yet ADITL gives that illusion.
