Whew! Chills. Over 40 years since the Beatles broke up and still the best band ever. By a mile. I challenge you to come up with a single instance whether it be culture - science - technology where the best of breed has not been passed up and improved upon every two or three years. Only exception to the rule is The Beatles. Astonishing.
For those who don't like the Beatles, may I suggest Dear Prudence. If you don't Dear Prudence... well, I don't know. great tune, and the Beatles have quite a number of great tunes.
What a great song!! Love it!! Beatles are awesome!! ❌⭕❌⭕

Yeah- you prob know Paul did the bass lines last to get the proper underpinning on Beatles records. This song came thru on my King Crimson station- at first I thought 'What?', then , 'of course'....
Amazing could the group really is. I always listen to this Beatles song when it comes on. Got to agree on the bass line, solid. It flows with such ease. Love the way they build the vocals to the end. Starr has great licks on this tune also. I agree that nobody does a Beatles song better than the Beatles. However, I did enjoy the song in Across The Universe.
Jet is so wrong. The song is about Mia Farrow's sister Prudence. They were all in India and "Dear Prudence" was very shy and stayed in here room quite a bit. John then wrote the song with her in mind.
Of all the songs that this great band came out with- this is probably my favorite. It is almost impossible to not smile when I hear this song. John at his ultimate best.
Just listening to this gets me high all over again! The Beatles are so great! And only John could make a love song also a song about raising consciousness and connecting with the world. He was a genius. I'll always miss him.
written on the spot to coax Mia Farrow's sister Prudence to come out of her room. they were all studying with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi at the time. It is an example of the Beatles' "turn it on" genius. A great song and production, as always.
My stepdad had a boat named Prudence. I never knew where he got the name but I know he's always been a Beatles fan. Upon hearing this song, I think I know now ...
I love this song....I used to listen to The White Album so much that my family was almost driven to insanity. xD This song falls in the category, for me, of making me really happy yet kind of....sad. Can't really explain it.
