another point.... saying the beatles were genius and ahead of their time is fine. i TELL ppl that... but. cant we say that somebody else wooda come up with all this pretty much at the same time or a few years later? What if you picked up the book A Brave New World and it was A PAGE LONG but made the same general point? Would we be as amazed to read it today and relate it to our world? (the way it WAS written...its scary an massively powerful to read today)
im confused. i love the beatles. an i know their scope an influence is ginormous. but... ppl are right. its NOT a "full" song. its like clicking on a sample online. you expect there to be another 5 minutes and your upset the sample wasn't longer. alot of "older" ppl say music is dead. i know for a fact there is not only a TITANIC amount MORE music being made...but whether an acoustic group or a 16yr old an his computer-theres GOLD out there now. SH*T TONS of it. as good as this im saying.
Abbey Road is overrated because many of the songs are really short, they are just some ideas thrown there and not expanded on. Don't get me wrong some of the melodies are great but I feel it is a lazy effort overall, especially compared to other Beatles album
I would have to completely agree with you A1. This song has been a symbol of the Beatles for many years and will be for the future of humanity. This is surly the most groundbreaking revolutionary song of all time! It can clearly be described as the official anthem of humanity!

Seriously.
I feel kinda ripped off.
When people think of the Beatles, they think of Mean Mr. Mustard.
yeah, sure.
