Lonnie Chapin came from Petra, and he was in Tait.

BDA broke up a few years ago. I went to high school with Dave Ray, one of the members. They started the band during college and made a go of it after graduating. (So no, none of them were in Petra or any other band before that) Their album didn't really take off, and one of the members left the band to start a family. I was so excited when this popped up on Pandora, though! I'm so glad their music is still circulating. :)

I don't think any of these guys were in Petra, but hard to tell because near the end of Petra the guys (other than John, & Louie) changed a lot. Bob even stepped out of the touring picture for a while and just wrote music for them.

As far as Tait- They were a spin off band of DC Talk Member Michael Tait. Good Stuff but very underrated.
