Yes, this song is very difficult for me...my moms favorite was barbra and i lost her 10yrs ago and it still hurts to hear her sing. Now my 17yr old loves Barbra. She wants to do broadway and wants to sing just like babs. I tell her all the time she gets it from her grandma....g i v e s me tears everyime!
This will always be one of my favorite songs. I used to sing my grandson to sleep with this song from birth, and he learned the words and would sing with me, at 18 months old!! He was struck with autism shortly after that and lost his ability to speak, which broke my heart, but over the years I keep singing it to him. He is 18 years old now and when I sing this song, he stops what he's doing and watches my lips and smiles. I can tell he wants to sing and he recognizes 'his' song. Thanks Barbra!
