I never heard her before. She is excellent. I want to hear more

I stopped in my tracks the first time I heard Barbara Dane's voice - coming out of my XM radio a few years ago. Thanks to the DJ who had the good sense to bring her voice to new generations.

Barbara Dane blows me away! What a voice and fine guitar playing. She was a big influence on Bonnie Raitt's music and activism. She deserves her place right alongside Baez, Dylan and other 60's scene musicians that are more well known and commercially successful.
Barbara is still making music in the Bay area. Check out her website and buy some of her bootleg' CD's while you're there.
What a great voice for the blues! Soulful, almost haunting. This is the first time I've heard of her and I'm looking forward to hearing more. Good pick.
