Mrz. Northwood they are both right in regards to Marc Nelson. He quit because he didn't think the group would be successful and later formed Az Yet. He went on afterwards to have a briefly lived solo career.

Mrz. Northwood - Marc Nelson actually was a member of Boyz II Men. He left the group prior to the release of their debut album. He and Nathan formed the group while in high school students. This was something that was mentioned in a special done on Boyz II Men by VH1 many years ago. I would have liked to have heard Marc as part of the group. I think his voice is incredible and it would have blended well with the other members.
