Many have said so, but I must give my two cents. Autotune, even for effect, just is gross. The instruments to this song are fantastic, but putting a disgusting auto-tune sounding track to it is just confusing and gross. It makes me feel like I'm listening to a Disney Star or something. I'm not a teenie bopper, I'm a grown man who loves A7X's riffs and Shadow's rough screaming voice. Sad days.
I actually think when artists use autotune for EFFECT it can turn out great (Pierce The Veil, Avenged Sevenfold) however HATE it when "artists" use autotune to make their voices sound better. I don't know if its just me but really authenticity is a big part of being a musician for me! You can't compare JB's vocals to for example Austin Carlile :) so yeah that's my opinion hehe
I don't mind the autotune. A7X experimented with a lot at the end of this album, from autotune to classical (Piece of Heaven) to country (Dear God). I like that they expanded their artistic horizons, and their pure musical epicness makes nearly any style work brilliantly. Dear God is pretty much the only country song I love listening to. ;P

Would be great without autotune. Autotune just makes you join the ranks of talentless yet famous musicians.
Good song. For ppl who dont like the auto-tune, its just A7X exploring what they can do with their music. if u look at A Little Piece of Heaven they used a lot of classical instruments which just adds to their amazing skills just like the auto-tune. R.I.P The Rev
