AGS and it's different enough.
AGS is more than different enough to the Cocteaus, especially with the latest album Divinian, which is darker than anything the Cocteaus ever did. Some of AGS's music is very similar to CT, but they have also gone in so many other directions over the past 11 years and 7 albums. It wouldn't make any sense to say that it's all like CT and you would be betraying your lack of listening. Anyway, is it that bad to emulate such a band as the great Cocteau Twins sometimes? I have CT coming on along with

Even if AGS is a copy, so what? I think I'd enjoy ANY band whose music sounds like the Cocteau Twins.
I wouldn't say that they're so much a Cocteau knockoff. More like an updated version of their original sound. AGS is still a pretty decent band on its own.
