It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

pk-Mage-master, you ARE the problem. I have known Andy for 13 years and was lucky enough to take lessons from him. He has been writing and composing his own music since he was a child. On top of that he is one of the most humble, helpful and genuine people that has ever walked this earth. Keep tearing down other people's work to make yourself feel better-let me know how it works out for you TROLL.

No comparisons are necessary between Michael Hedges and Andy McKee. They are both brilliant artists with their own unique sound. Thanks to both for their great music.
If y'all like Andy, check out Sungha Jung! His music is ammaazzingggg. Finger style acoustic guitar! And he's only 15!

Michael Hedges and Andy McKee are both great guitar players in their own right. No debate or

i took lessons from andy and watching him play one of his songs on your own guitar inspired me alot because i knew that level of sound was possible, so started the journey never ending and always worthy...
What amazes me is that folks can compare and contrast and say he hasn't paid his dues, or he is this or that..blah blah blah..Andy makes music and it is subject to personal opinion and preference but lets not tear him down just because he differs. Most of the negative remarks about his playing are just subjective B.S. To all the nay sayers who have spouted the negative vibes, you guys need to a grip. Andy Mckee is a great player and he doesn't have to fit into your little molds.

Went to a concert in Cols, Ohio last year. Featured McKee, Dufour and Stephen Bennett. Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever been to.
There can never be a comparison Mckee is his own person, with his own music, that people love, regardless of his education or whatever it is you are getting at. I listen to Hedges and Mckee and I see no similarities, other than they both make great music.
He is not Hedges reborn. Hedges studied music and paid his dues. Andy, not so much. He is an adept guitar player, but you can tell he just dropped out of school to noodle around with a Preston Reed video while living off his parents. He does not have the same profound understanding or expression that Hedges developed. There just is no comparison.
With all due respect to Bronson Graff's comments, I think Andy McKee is only like Hedges in sheer technical artistry. the comparison stops there, because McKee has a lighter, brighter spirit. There's a happiness and lightheartedness to his style as opposed to some very strange, dark spiritual influences in Hedges' work, oftentimes. My opinion.
Here's a repost since the posting software took away all the punctuation made my post unreadable ----It's Michael Hedges reborn. Very impressive. Particularly the song ::::The Friend I Never Met::: It's like Hedges' classic ::::Because It's There:::: Part 2!
She is a mom she is my mom I am 8 she is a good mom. I like her because she takes care of me. Want to know more talk to me.The End P.S so does not look like my mom. now The End.
Andy is such a fine musician..but ALSO, a very down-to-earth person. When I met him in at a concert near San Antonio..in Helotes a while back..it was as if I had known him for years. Sweet disposition!!

Came across "The Friend I Never Met" on the soundtrack to August Rush. Love the sound and feeling he creates. Definitely adding him to my library.

Nice sound. Caught the song "Drifting" on my Jack Johnson channel. I'll definitely check out some more.
@Alan, I agree. listening is one thing but seeing him live was a whole other experience. I have been playing for almost 20 years and watching Andy play live was an experience I will never forget. My jaw was sore from hitting the floor so many times
It's obvious that Michael Hedges was a huge influence on Andy's style. I can also hear a faint influence of heavy metal in some of his songs. His arrangement of Tears for Fears "Everybody wants to rule the world is phenomenal!
