Just one more mornin, I had to wake up with the blues. Pulled myself out of bed, yeah, put on my walkin shoes. And went up on the mountain, to see what I could see. The whole world was fallin, right down in front of me.

Molly did have a good version of the this song, I don't think they had competeing with Allman Bros. anyway, just a different rendition and quite different arrangement. Both are good in their own right.
As much as I appreciate Molly Hatchet's effort on 'Dreams'.......I just shake my head that anyone would think that effort would be better than any version (studio or esepcially live) by the allman brothers?!?!?! Oh my! Doesn't say much about your ability to recognize TRUE greatness!!
I just saw the Allman Bros. this past Sunday at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, they jammed for nearly 2 1/2 hrs. They were, in a word, phenomenal. nuff said.
