I have always thought the Allman Brothers were a great band. If you have never listened to Gregg's solo album Playin' Up A Storm you are missing out,That is my all time favorite recording,An d whoever said white boys can't play the blues is full of crap

you take four parts blues and one part country and give it too a dirty white boy and you got rock and roll......
Greg Allman in his prime was one of the greatest white blues singers of all time.
Southern white boys putting their own spin on the blues. Guess that's why they are still around! Lotta love from me.
