It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play.
The music should be playing soon.

I love the disco erra , it was a time of disco's never ending flashing lights, dancing, disco balls, love and much more. .Oh how I wish I could return to those blissful days in my youth. Its nice to dream back on the past.

I'm sure I still have that 45 in my collection. It is a great, great sound. The horns are incredible. I'm 58 and still get goosebumps from it.
Alicia lives in Atlanta GA and works at a cool retail store in the little 5 points area which is a great area to hang out in. I Love The Nightlife was the ONLY disco song I loved and I actually bought the 45 and played it endlessly. My roomates at the time would laugh like hell because were were hardcore Marc Bolan and Cheap Trick fans. No disco.

This is perhaps THE best disco song of the entire genre and yet it was ahead of it's time as a rock based dance song in 1978. I have such fond memories of this song playing at "The Saloon" in Minneapolis. I had just "come out" as a gay man and went to this club nightly. They played this song every nite and all would hit the dance floor. What memories. So glad I experienced this incredible "gay soul" music. I moved to San Francisco in 1979 but never forgot those incredible nights and music at the
I do so miss Alicia, Bonnie Pointer, Fern Kinney, Anita Ward, Amii Stewart, Sylvester etc. They gave charisma and depth to the late seventies disco days. Alicia remains one of my most favorite. A truly gifted individual who did not receive enough attention for what she offered.
even as a little girl Alicia was very talented . I went to school with Alicia and at a young age she would bring her guitar to school and would play and sing . I am pleased to know Alicia went on to have songs to hit the charts . Alicia`s parents were very well thought of people and this was a family to that was nice to be around. jaye spangler
