Me and my friend were talking saying that the rhythm guitarist was probably was the least involved with the band. The next day I find this. Damn son.

Before hearing this guy's stuff, I thought the Strokes' genius lay in the hands of Mr. Casablancas. This really opened my eyes to see how big a piece Albert plays in the making of Strokes music.

Marc Phillippe Eskenazi plays guitar in Albert's band, not bass.
Everyone Gets a Star sounds like Built to Spill mixed with some Pedro the Lion. I really like this! I wasn't expecting much from a Strokes off-shoot. I might just check this album out.
