This song is very sad. He describes his love for a woman and how he lets his relationship with her get to a point to where he cannot repair it. He describes the beginning of the relationship when everything feels like a dream, his thoughts and stride are warm despite the seasons changing. Eventually because of his inability to compromise he feels alone when he thinks of loosing her. He knows it's over when he looks into her eyes and sees nothing for him, he feels empty and alone.

There's one voice in this song that sounds just like the singer from the 80's hard rock band Zebra... anyone else catch that??
This song is somewhat sexual. But It is actually about the progression of his relationship with someone. The song title "Deep inside of you" takes on different meanings throughout the song as clearly his attitude changes toward the person he is singing about.
